Why a Horror Genre?
With all the different MMO’s on the market, 90% of them fit into either a Fantasy or Sci-Fi genre. While there are a few that are different, we feel that it’s time for something new and completely fresh. Exanimus is the first step into a new market that we hope to jumpstart with this title.

What’s so special about horror microfiction?
Unfortunately, this is a question that can only be answered by an opinion. As for me, I’m a horror fan just like I assume you to be. I like to be scared and disturbed by what I read. I also love short-short stories, and love the emotional impact that can be crammed into a few well chosen words. Horror, I’ve come to believe, is particularly well suited to the microfiction form, and the best horror microfiction can be as brief and shocking as a punch to the stomach.I’ve made over 130 films, 40 of them are loosley rooted in the horror genre, and only a few of those are true “horror”. You first enter my site and see a chainsaw dripping in blood with the name Cine-”MASSACRE”, so I can see how you may be misleaded, although the term Cinemassacre refers to my style of filmmaking and “massacring” the Hollywood format.

How often should I use fear or horror saves?
Both fear and horror saves are provided as an aid to role-playing, not a replacement. If you think your players are responding appropriately to a horrific situation then do not ask them to make saves. If they are not responding then use the saves more liberally. Fear saves and their like were called Fear checks in second edition. The term was changed to reflect d20’s new terminology.We look for stories and poetry that show our reader the many variations of the ghost world and of the supernatural. Some Horror writing does deal with these areas. We will consider those pieces. We try to avoid writing that uses gory impressions as part of its story. In some cases, a little bit of gore is acceptable. Our readers vary from young adults to senior citizens, and we use that as a guide.Before the invention of the cinema, horror genre lived in literal and theatrical forms.

What is the difference between fear and horror?
Fear is the simpler of the two being a response to a direct threat, when one’s life is at stake. Horror is much more subtle and varied. Threats to others such as loved ones are horrifying as is anything that upsets someone’s worldview or beliefs; the realisation that something is wrong -insidiously wrong- is terrifying without being actually frightening.

They show Rocky Horror in Cleveland? When and where is it shown?
The Rocky Horror Picture Show has been playing for over 15 years now at the Cedar Lee Theatre in Cleveland Heights, OH. TRHPS IS SHOWN THE FIRST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT MIDNIGHT.
